How long is the transfer from Milan to Lake Como?
Como town is about 50 km and an hour; lakeside villages such as Bellagio and Varenna take 1.5–2 hours, because the lake road is narrow and winding. It gets genuinely congested in summer. If you want to stop at several points around the lake, hourly hire works out cheaper than separate transfers.
